Are MobiStories compatible with Macs and PCs?

Yes. MobiStories can play on both Apple computers and Personal Computers. Top

Are MobiStories compatible with Wii, Xbox and PlayStation products?

A MobiStories DVD can be played on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. To play MobiStories on a Wii will require downloading Wii Video 9 software, which will convert MobiStories into a format understood by Wii. Still Motion Media does not support this external software. Top

Can I combine books into a Treasury on one DVD?

Some series of books are offered both individually and as MobiStories Treasuries (sets of books) on DVD. Please look for these in the age group listings. Top

Do I need additional software to run MobiStories?

MobiStories are viewed using either QuickTime or Windows Media Player. All Mac computers have QuickTime preloaded, so if you choose Mac at checkout, you will automatically receive the file in QuickTime format. Virtually all PCs are preinstalled with Windows Media Player, so if you choose PC at checkout, you will automatically receive the file in Windows Media format. If you do not have either format on your computer, you may download them for free at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download or http://www.windowsmedia.com. Top

How do I download my MobiStories?

Add the stories you want to your cart When you are finished, checkout and pay for the stories or use a coupon as directed with our secure shopping cart. You will receive one confirmation email followed by another with simple download instructions. Top

How do I get MobiStories onto my cell phone?

Currently, MobiStories are available for the iPhone, iPods Touch, Classic and Nano by selecting either of the m4v versions. Versions for other phones will be available shortly. Choose and download your specific format (iPhone/iTouch, or iPod Classic/Nano) to your computer from our secure website. Drag the file(s)into the iTunes movies folder. Hook up your device and click on ’sync.’ Your MobiStories will now be copied to your mobile device.

How do I get MobiStories onto my iPhone, iPod Classic (formerly known as video iPod), iPod Nano and iTouch?

After downloading the correct file for your device onto your computer, (either of the m4v files you selected in the pull down menu prior to purchase), import them into your iTunes library. From there, plug in your video iPod, iPhone, iTouch or iPod Nano; select the videos you would like to have on your device, click on Sync, and they will be automatically downloaded to your device’s video folder. op

How do I order my MobiStories and when will I receive them?

You can order them online on this secure Website. If you order a download, it is immediately available to you. If you order a DVD, it will ship within three business days. Top

I bought a bundle of books that are in a .zip or .sit file. Now what do I do?

Most computers already have expanding software built in. If your file isn’t automatically expanding when you click on it, do a search on your drive or look in your applications or utilities folder for Stuffit Expander. If you can’t find it, do the following to obtain the FREE software:

Mac users go to: http://my.smithmicro.com/mac/stuffit/index.html and click on Get Expander FREE Download.

PC users go to: http://my.smithmicro.com/win/stuffit/index.html and click on Get Expander FREE Download.

Download and install according to their instructions and follow directions to expand your books. It’s really easy! Top

Where can MobiStories be viewed?

Right now, MobiStories can be viewed on several digital devices including: any size television (standard or hi definition), iTouch, iPhone, iPod Classic (originally known as video iPod), iPod Nano, portable DVD player (not all books are available in DVD format. Please check with us) and computer. Other digital formats and devices we’re working on include: Flash, e-Pub, those for Kindle (gray scale) and the Sony Reader. Top

Will MobiStories on DVD work in both my car and home players?

Yes. Depending on your screen size, there may be a black border around the books just as you may have noticed when watching some movies. Top

Will the digital files remain on my device or do they expire?

Once downloaded to your device, the files are yours to keep forever! Top
